Wednesday, August 19th, at 9:30 PM, Piazza Marinai d’Italia hosts I Capovolti with a tribute to Vasco Rossi. The event is part of the “Un palco sul molo” festival and the “Serate Incantate” program. The band will perform a repertoire dedicated to one of the most followed artists in Italian music, with songs designed to be sung by the audience. Admission is free until seats are available.

Friday, August 21st at 9:30 PM, Piazza Marinai d’Italia will be the setting for a concert by the Ligurian group “Piano B” Live Music, two hours of music ranging from pop to rock, featuring a journey through artists who have made the history of Italian music (Zucchero, Ligabue, Vasco, Dalla, Baglioni, Morandi and many others). The Piano B, the band that has won the hearts of many, return to the stage for a concert that will make you relive the emotions of Italian Music from the ’80s and ’90s. The concert, which promises to be a true journey through time, will see Simone Matera, the charismatic voice of Piano B, sing the songs that marked an era. Accompanied by Alessio Nicolò (guitar), Carmine Pollio (bass), Mario Rossello (keyboards), Matteo Ferrando (drums) and Fabio Tessiore (sax), who together will transport you into a world of memories and musical passion. On Saturday, August 22nd, at 10:00 PM, Piazza Marinai d’Italia hosts one of the most evocative summer events, the second Night of Fireworks, a low-noise pyrotechnic show. Starting from 10:00 PM, the sky of Borghetto Santo Spirito will come alive with games of light and colors that will leave the audience looking up in wonder, among luminous sceneries and pyrotechnic compositions. After the first show, which opened the double summer event with “The Nights of Fireworks”, the evening of August 22nd will offer a new sequence of luminous effects and pyrotechnic compositions, visible from various points along the coastline. On this occasion too, low-noise fireworks will be used, chosen to limit the sound component. A formula that allows maintaining the charm and spectacularity of fireworks, with greater attention to the welfare of animals and people particularly sensitive to loud and sudden noises. In case of adverse weather conditions, the show will be postponed to Thursday, August 27th, at 10:00 PM.

The event, introduced by Graziella Frasca Gallo, is part of the “Serate & Pomeriggi d’Autore” series. The novel tells the story of a vital and imperfect family, focusing on compromises, omissions and unspoken choices. The evening will be an opportunity to meet an important voice in contemporary Italian narrative and to reflect, through literature, on the small ambiguities of everyday life. The two artists bring a stop of their summer live tour to Borghetto Santo Spirito, with a musical proposal designed for a young and diverse audience. Admission is free until sold out.

The event, introduced by Graziella Frasca Gallo, is part of the “Serate & Pomeriggi d’Autore” series. The book, co-authored with Ornella Vanoni, emerges as an intimate and biographical account of a great artist, revealing her fragility, determination, irony and memory. The evening will offer the audience a dialogue between music, words and lived experience, through the perspective of a singer-songwriter and author connected to Italian song.
