—EVENT CANCELLED — Sunday 23 August, at 10.30 AM, at S.L.A. Levante Beach will be held the II Mixed Breed Dogs Gathering, with the participation of the Cultural Dog dog training school from Albenga.
Piazza Libertà
On Sunday, August 23rd, on the occasion of International Dog Day, PAWS ON TOUR returns this year, reaching its IV edition, the initiative dedicated to our four-legged friends, promoted by the Department for the Protection of Pet Animals and the Department for Culture and Tourism of the Municipality of Borghetto Santo Spirito. The event renews a formula that over the years has been able to engage many participants, a walk in the company of your own dogs along our Seafront, to spend an afternoon together drawing attention to the respect and care of animals. The meeting is set for 6:15 PM in Piazza Libertà, from where the walk will begin towards Piazza Marinai d’Italia. At the end of the route, the four-legged protagonists will take the stage to be presented to the public and the traditional award ceremony will not be missed. Three categories of dogs will be awarded: the youngest, the oldest and the one from the farthest distance. In Piazza Marinai d’Italia, the following organizations will be present, committed to spreading their message in favor of animal protection: A.I.C.A.S. (Italian Association of Assistance and Service Dogs), Canine School ASD Blue River Dog of Borghetto S. Spirito, the Branco di Laura, Italian Veterinary Ambulance Federation O.d.v., G.A.D.I.T. (Environmental Guards of Italy), Levante e Ponente Beach and Noemi Oblò creazioni. The Adottaliguria ODV Association also participates, present with a solidarity stand, in order to raise funds to help our four-legged friends, which, in collaboration with the Gelateria Brignè, will make available a discount voucher kindly offered, with a value of €2.00 for all participants. Monday 24 August, from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm, c ontinue the summer appointments of Spaziobimbi, dedicated to the youngest. On Monday 24 August, at 4:00 pm at Giardino Stefano Pittaluga, “Discovering the world!” will be held, the new free reading and craft workshop for children from 3 years old. A meeting designed for young readers, who this time will be invited to look at the horizon and be guided by stories, discovering what makes our planet so big and varied. And like little Thumblings, painting pebbles, they will be able to leave some beautiful traces around the world! Cinema Arena Vittoria
On Monday, August 24, at 21:30, Cinema Arena Vittoria hosts Margherita Oggero for the presentation of “Le piccole viltà”, published by Einaudi. The event, introduced by Graziella Frasca Gallo, is part of the “Serate & Pomeriggi d’Autore” series. With her ironic gaze and attention to human weaknesses, the Turin-based writer constructs a family story in which each character carries something they would prefer not to show. At the heart of the novel is Marianna, called Mimina, who grew up within a far from conventional family, alongside figures bound by deep affections, but also by choices, renunciations and truths left unresolved. It is precisely the apparently least important behaviors that become the subject matter of the narrative: those decisions made for convenience, fear or peace of mind that, accumulating over time, end up directing people’s lives. The events of the protagonists are interwoven with the transformation of Turin, a city particularly dear to the author and a constant presence in her literary work. Born in Turin, Margherita Oggero was a teacher before dedicating herself to narrative writing. She made her debut in 2002 with La collega tatuata, from which the film Se devo essere sincera was adapted. Her novels also gave rise to the successful series Provaci ancora prof! With Einaudi she has published Così parlò il nano da giardino (2006), Il Compito di un gatto di strada (2009), Non fa niente (2017 and 2019), Il gioco delle ultime volte (2021) and Le piccole viltà (2026). She collaborates with newspapers and magazines and her works are translated in various countries.
Piazza Marinai d'Italia
The enchanted summer of Borghetto Santo Spirito is preparing to experience one of its most anticipated events. On Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 9:30 PM, Piazza Marinai d’Italia will host LDA & AKA7even, two of the most well-known and appreciated young artists on the Italian pop-urban scene. An unmissable appointment for all live music enthusiasts, organized to offer the audience an evening full of fun, great hits and the contagious energy that only great live performances can convey. LDA, stage name of Luca D’Alessio, became known to the general public thanks to his participation in Amici, where he distinguished himself for his sensitivity and a personal style capable of combining pop, R&B, and urban influences. In 2023, he took the stage at the Sanremo Festival with Se poi domani, consolidating an artistic path that has led him to win an increasingly large audience. AKA7even, stage name of Luca Marzano, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who achieved national popularity through Amici. With songs like Loca, which became one of his greatest successes, he built a personal artistic path that also brought him to the Sanremo Festival stage in 2022, where he presented Perfetta così. Two paths that over time have met and given life to an increasingly strong artistic and personal bond. LDA and AKA7even, in fact, share not only a passion for music, but an artistic and personal connection born during their respective journeys and grown over time. From television to major stages, their paths have crossed on several occasions, even reaching the prestigious setting of the Sanremo Festival, an experience that saw them as protagonists together with Poesie clandestine, a song that marked a new chapter in their shared artistic journey. The project also gave rise to their first album together, Poesie clandestine, in which pop and contemporary sounds meet influences linked to musical tradition and the roots of Southern Italy. Both have been able to win over especially the new generations, transforming their early television experiences into the starting point to build their own musical identity. Two artists, two stories and one great stage for an evening designed especially for young people, but capable of engaging an audience of all ages. The evening will be free and open to all, within the capacity limits provided for performances. Cinema Arena Vittoria
New appointment with the Teatro nel Borgo season, Wednesday August 26th, at 21.30, guest at Cinema Arena Vittoria Raul Cremona with Raul Cremona show. In his live performance, in the form of a recital and accompanied on the piano by Gabriele Gentile, Raul Cremona proposes a surreal journey through his most beloved characters, between memories, comedy and magic. What can be said about the intolerant and very Milanese Omen, whom Raul, as a child, learned to know in a Milan that no longer exists? And then Marvello, American mentalist, with his guru Ocio Batocio, hilarious characters that resurface in a tale made of memory, invention and irresistible nonsense. During the show, Raul Cremona, with disenchantment and a touch of nostalgia, gives the audience a real carousel ride: at times dizzying, at times poetic, always surprising. A journey in which the artist reaffirms himself as that original storyteller who makes magic not only an art of illusion, but above all an extraordinary tool of narration. Magic, sleight of hand, wordplay, music, gags and comic sketches are the dominant features of a show that blends comedy and wonder, bringing back to the stage characters, atmospheres and suggestions that belong to Cremona’s long career. An evening to laugh, be surprised and return, for a few hours, to look at reality with the enchanted eyes of magic. Milanese, born in 1956, Raul Cremona approached the world of magic and illusionism from a very young age, transforming this passion over the years into a personal artistic signature, capable of blending sleight of hand, comedy and theatre. After his debut in the world of Milanese cabarets, Cremona built his own success through theatre, television and participation in numerous highly popular programs. The general public also knows him thanks to Zelig, where he performs some of his most famous characters, which have become true cult icons of Italian comedy over time. But it is especially on stage that Cremona fully expresses his vocation as an artist and storyteller: magic becomes for him a language through which to tell stories of characters, epochs and memories, with a style that alternates nonsense, irony, improvisation and poetry. With Raul Cremona Show, his surreal universe thus returns as protagonist, made up of improbable characters, wordplay, illusions and memories of a Milan that belongs to the past, but which through theatre magically comes back to life. “Raul Cremona, great guest for our Teatro nel Borgo season and interpreter of Variety Theatre, will be an unmissable appointment of this Enchanted Summer!” Performances are free admission, subject to seating availability. On Friday, August 28th, at 21:30, Piazza Marinai d’Italia hosts Festival Project with an evening dedicated to the best songs from the Sanremo Festival. The event is part of the “A stage on the pier” series and the “Enchanted Evenings” program. The concert offers a journey through the Sanremo repertoire, among songs that have crossed different eras and have become part of Italian musical memory. Admission is free until seats are full.

The event, introduced by Graziella Frasca Gallo, is part of the “Serate & Pomeriggi d’Autore” series. The book, co-authored with Ornella Vanoni, emerges as an intimate and biographical account of a great artist, revealing her fragility, determination, irony and memory. The evening will offer the audience a dialogue between music, words and lived experience, through the perspective of a singer-songwriter and author connected to Italian song.
