Dedicated to one of the most current and debated topics of contemporary society “The impact of social media on our lives. Reflections on the influence of a phenomenon“, the meeting will be led by Dr. Italo Dosio, specialist physician in psychiatry and psychotherapist, who will guide the audience in a moment of reflection and in-depth analysis of a phenomenon that has profoundly transformed the way we communicate, inform ourselves and relate to one another.

What impact does the use of social media have on our perception of ourselves, our needs, our emotions, our thoughts? What influence does it have on our relationships?

Are social media still an environment where you can be visible, communicate, consume and also produce content? Or, without our noticing, have they transformed into a nagging space for the commerce of products?

Do we risk living the paradox of hyperconnected individuals yet increasingly lonely?

Dr. Italo Dosio will answer these questions and offer food for thought, helping the audience better understand the dynamics of a phenomenon increasingly present in everyday life.

Dr. Italo Dosio, now retired, carried out prevention, care and rehabilitation activities at the mental health departments of Turin and surrounding areas.
