On Tuesday, July 7th, at 9:30 PM, at Cinema Arena Vittoria, an evening dedicated to auteur cinema and the promotion of Italian cinematographic heritage will take place. A preview screening of “A Woman’s Story“, a short film inspired by the work of Cesare Zavattini, one of the most important protagonists of Italian Neorealism, will be shown. The film was created during the 2025/2026 academic year by the Unitre Cineteatro laboratory, directed by filmmaker Angelo Berrino.

Zavattini was one of the greatest screenwriters and intellectuals of the twentieth century, author of works that marked the history of Italian cinema.

The initiative is curated by Unitre Comprensoriale Ingauna, of which Borghetto Santo Spirito is a branch office.

The event is free admission, subject to availability.
